Virat Kohli became emotional after winning after 17 years, sending a video to Anushka Sharma and his children.

It was undoubtedly an emotional and uplifting day for India and its inhabitants as the men in blue won the T20 World Cup on Saturday at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados. Indian cricketer Virat Kohli scored a match-winning 76 from 59 balls, as India defeated South Africa by seven runs. 

The Indian cricket team lifted the T20 World Cup trophy, and everyone celebrated their success. After 17 years, India won the World Cup, and Virat Kohli declared his retirement from the sport.

Cricketer Virat Kohli burst into tears as he praised his teammates and later joined them in celebration. Before officially announcing his retirement from the game, he called his wife Anushka Sharma, who had not travelled to Barbados to attend the match but was present during the festivities. 

During a video call with Anushka Sharma and their children, Vamika and Akaay, the former India captain was seen making silly faces and giving flying kisses. He engaged in a lively conversation with his children.

The video has gone viral on social media, and people are showering him with praise for always prioritising his family. Virat Kohli even showed them the medal and waved his flag.
