She is going to be seen in a very funny avatar in this film. Meanwhile, a video of director Raj Shandilya and producer Bhushan Kumar from the trailer launch of the film is going viral. The director was asked what was the reason for bringing Mallika back after so many years. During this, Raj and co-producer Vipul Shah were seen pulling each other’s leg.
Vipul Shah says that the idea of bringing Mallika was completely Raj’s. During this, he was seen teasing Raj. Pointing towards Raj regarding the casting, Shah said, “Raj’s fantasy.” After this, Raj Shandilya starts blushing. After this, he mentions Mallika‘s famous song in the film Murder and says, “Aap Safal Hote Hain Toh Aapko Lagta Hai, Bheege Honth Tere.”
As soon as he says this, everyone present on the stage starts laughing. However, Raj later clarifies that there is nothing like that. He decided to take Mallika because it was the demand of the script and she fits perfectly for this role.
He said, “I brought Mallika because the script was written for her. She was perfect for it. The role is of a modern woman of the 1990s and Mallika was perfect for the role. That’s why we cast her. Otherwise, I don’t have any such relationship with her.”
The film stars Rajkummar Rao, Tripti Dimri and Mallika Sherawat, besides Archana Puran Singh, Archana Patel, Rakesh Bedi, Mukesh Tiwari, Tiku Talsania, Mubeen Saudagar and Jaswant Singh. The film will release on October 11.
