Nora Fatehi: she said- don’t do this to me
When Nora Fatehi had to do something for Satyamev Jayate’s famous song Dilbar which she flatly refused to do. Even though Nora did not get any fees for doing this song, but this song gave her a huge success.
The song Dilbar got more than crores of views on YouTube, but at that time, Nora was more focused on proving herself than making money. According to media reports, in a recent interview, Nora revealed that she was on the verge of leaving India when she was offered “Dilbar” along with the song “Kamariya” from Stree. However, during that time Nora Fatehi was in dire need of money and she did not have anything in her account for rent or even food.
Nora said, “When I met the makers of these two songs… for which I never got paid, which I did for free because I said this is not the time for me to make money, right now is the time for me to prove myself and make a name and work with great people.”
According to media reports, Nora revealed that the top she was given for Dilbar was too short and she asked for a new top. She said, “When they brought the top to me, it was too short and I had to put my foot down. I said, ‘Guys, I can’t wear this. I understand, it’s a great song, we are all naturally stylish.
In the morning, when we were supposed to shoot the song, they had to make a new top.” Nora added, “They had to re-create a comfortable top for me. Some people might still find it too revealing, but for me, it was what I was comfortable in.”
