Stars lose their charm :
They say that something that is easily obtained is not valued. Same is the condition of Hindi cinema stars. South Indian stars are also on internet media, but they mostly use it to promote their films. Now if stars are seen everywhere then there is no more charm in seeing them on screen. One aspect is that currently artists have started making their political views public. People quietly admit that it affects the work of artists.
Film experts insist on giving preference to artists with thinking and ideology in choosing scripts as per their age. Trade analyst Atul Mohan says, ‘Senior actors are doing the same routine films that they have always been doing. Now there has been a lot of change in the preferences of the audience.
After the arrival of OTT platform, viewers are watching content from across the country and the world, so now the viewers want the same level of entertainment as they are spending money. They don’t want routine commercial films like ‘Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan’.They want content with entertainment. ‘Munjya’ is a starless film, but its word of mouth publicity made the film a hit.
Stars’ fees are a problem :
Along with the fees of the stars, their huge army is also working to increase the budget of the film. This puts additional burden on filmmakers.
